Building reasonable English language skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening) for the purpose of everyday communication.
Enabling the participants to become keen and insightful observers of the world within and without (the importance of general awareness and self-awareness).
Enabling the participants to find their own voice, and honing their ability to express views and opinions by exposing them to various critical thinking perspectives.
Outcomes- At the end of each module, participant is expected to be:
Reasonably self-confident, with the ability to interact and converse in English.
Fairly skilled at basic reading, writing and communication skills.
Able to think critically about issues of social and personal relevance.
Able to express himself/herself in certain creative ways (storytelling, filmmaking, etc.).
Participants are expected to be more enabled, employable and entrepreneurial at the end of this programme.
