Objectives -
  • Building reasonable English language skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening) for the purpose of everyday communication.
  • Enabling the participants to become keen and insightful observers of the world within and without (the importance of general awareness and self-awareness).
  • Enabling the participants to find their own voice, and honing their ability to express views and opinions by exposing them to various critical thinking perspectives.
  • Outcomes- At the end of each module, participant is expected to be:
  • Reasonably self-confident, with the ability to interact and converse in English.
  • Fairly skilled at basic reading, writing and communication skills.
  • Able to think critically about issues of social and personal relevance.
  • Able to express himself/herself in certain creative ways (storytelling, filmmaking, etc.).
  • Participants are expected to be more enabled, employable and entrepreneurial at the end of this programme.
